Rent can only increase at the end of a fixed-term arrangement or every 12 months. (If the lease expires after six months and the rent increased at the start, it can’t increase it again.)
Before an increase in rent, we must give you one month’s notice if you’re on a fixed-term agreement or two months’ notice if you’re on a periodic or rolling tenancy.
If you feel a rental increase is excessive, please contact us and we are happy to talk to you about it.
